Scrap metal recycling
Old metals are worth money, and more than that! Mining the natural raw material metal is very harmful to the environment, and with the Van Leeuwen Recycling Group we are able to reduce the need for this raw material with metal recycling. This is because the process consumes a lot of energy and in addition, the resources are not inexhaustible. By focusing on recycling old metal, we will need fewer and fewer new raw materials and move towards a circular economy where waste does not exist.
That is why the Van Leeuwen Recycling Group is happy to purchase your old metals so that they can be given a second life. This way we relieve our environment by recycling your metals and you can easily get rid of your metal and get a nice amount of money in return! Together we create a sustainable society and make the world a little greener.

Giving scrap metal a second lease on life
Metal recycling is one of the first forms of recycling and will only become more important in our society in the future. The Van Leeuwen Recycling Group therefore collects all types of metals. We have all the necessary permits to process your old metals in an environmentally friendly way. Handing in your metal can be done at our location, or through our container service. Drop-off is possible on weekdays from 07:00 to 17:00 (except 12:30 to 13:00) and on Saturdays from 07:30 to 14:00 (except 12:00 to 12:30). After the inspection, the necessary preliminary operations are carried out and your old metals are transported to the final processor for final metal recycling where all metal types are remelted into new metal raw materials.
Alternatively, you can use our ‘container hire service’ – nice and convenient.
Non-ferrous metals
Non-ferrous metals are metals that do not contain iron, or alloys whose main ingredient is not iron.
Ferrous metals
errous metals are all alloys whose base metal is iron and that have magnetic coercivity.
